This restaurant is very basic in decor, but the service and food were great. We ordered a filet and ribeye. They were some of the best steaks we've ever had, rivaling, and topping, expensive, fancy steakhouses.

This is a nice friendly comfortable building. The Service & Food is excellent. When People visit this area they are looking for a good Midwest Tenderloin - You will not be disappointed -this is the place!. Sides are also excellent. Take Home Box is a must.

Food was great. And the staff were very kind and helpful. Small town device. It was a busy Friday night. The kitchen was slow, which hurts the owners as much as the customers. I had the hubcap, which is a novelty. I'd try it again. But portion is huge! :).

My wife and I dined at Uncle Ronnie's for the first time two weeks ago, we were not disappointed. The Restaurant was basic with a bar on one side of the building and a dining area on the other side divided by a row of booths. there was nothing memorable about the décor but the food made up for the Spartan atmosphere. The food was above average with the prices being very reasonable. My wife had the Filet Mignon and I had the Smothered Chicken, both were very good, both were tender and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and personable, she made our visit a fun dining experience. We'll definitely return.

Uncle Ronnie's West Burlington Iowa I wanted to try Uncle Ronnie's for some time. So Saturday night was my first trip the place really has a split personality. One side is a dark restaurant with no cohesive feel the other a wannabe sports bar with the free beer stuff on the walls and strangely place TV's. Our waitress was the highlight of the evening she took the time to explain what was popular from the menu and was very honest. Teresa had the usual French Dip and said it was very good. For her side she choose the sweet potato fries they were over cooked and not very tasty. They were served with an interesting sauce which we were told consisted of powdered sugar and maple syrup. It was good but could only have a small amount of it. The waitress told me that the Grouper Ruben was very popular so I said what the heck let's give it a try. It was deep fried Grouper served with coleslaw and thousand island dressing served on rye bread. I'll have to admit it was pretty good. The rye bread a little strong for my taste. The coleslaw was good as well. I thought it was strange that the owner was there and spent the whole time we were there sitting at the bar. He got up once and went and bused a table. Perhaps that is not always the case but while I was there I thought he was missing out on an opportunity to do something. Great menu, I have enjoyed the food everytime I have been there. Ron is always there to greet the customers and aks them how the meals are. Highly recommended!!!!
